Some Background :

CASA DE VINOS COLLABORATION 2018

This releases was a collaboration bottling between Sullivans Cove, La Maison du Whisky Singapore and Casa de Vinos, one of Australia's best boutique bottle shops. Bottled at 58% abv from a single, 12yo, French oak cask that previously held Australian white wine (TD0114), this whisky was sold at Whisky Live Singapore in 2018, as well as at Casa de Vinos in Melbourne and from Sullivans Cove Cellar Door. The artwork on the label was specially commissioned by Sullivans Cove from Tasmanian artist Tom Samek, known for his playful figures often depicted enjoying food and drink. The original woodcut shows a man, who's face is shaped like a pot still, wearing a crown of barley.

Sullivans Cove 12-year-old, Cask # TD0114

French Oak Cask, Bottled 2018, ABV 58%, Bottled for Liquor Library & La Maison du Whisky, 268 Bottles.

Nose: Heavilly sherried with sour plum, overipe apple, more depth compared to Lark CS

Palate: Intense sweetness, felt like sherry, although intense there's a kind of balance after a while, dark fruits, raisins.

Finish: Some warmness with medium finish, lingering sweet sherry like finishing

Upon comparing both, #SullivansCove exceed slightly as I've tasted sweetness which is quite similar, Sullivan's may have slightly more depth. With some discussion it may possibly be cask which is very active.
