Kilkerran 12 Year Old , ABV 46%, Bottled 20 Mar 2019

Nose: Very nice floral kind of smell for me, after leaving longer, there's this funky smell that i get from Ben Nevis, slightly on the woody side, very little peat, after being told there's peat, it has this nice scent, the sweetness feel definitely covered the peat behind

Taste: a bloom of sweetness with some prickled spiciness, the bloom brought some complexities, some bitterness may have come from the bourbon cask, orange peel, sourish green apple

Finish: short - medium with lingering sweetness, more intense woody bitterness

Score : 85, WB85213

Kilkerran 8 Year Old Cask Strength - Batch 5

1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Casks, ABV 56.9, Bottled 12 Jan 2021

Nose: Caramel all over, very thick syrup sweet honey like, nice sherry aroma, earthy like peat

Taste: There's a complexity of sweetness apart from dark fruit, it's a very nice bloom fighting for a place to land in the mouth unlocking the flavors layer by layer

Finish: Medium finish, nice lingering scented floral like , warmness on the throat

Score : 88 , WB176854
