#Islay, @bruichladdich - Micro Provenance Series, Single Cask, Cask Evolution Exploration, 10 Year Old, ABV 59.5%

Barley Type Optic, Syrah 2nd Fill Cask, Distilled 30 Aug 2010, Bottled 12 October 2020, Specially Bottled for Malaysia , 144 Bottles and 144 bottles in Singapore

Nose: Left for an hour to air, intense burn during initial nose, followed by a room that had a soaked wet towel left to dry - something like olden days when room sharing where you have roommates that hang the towel in room. Menthol burn still there most likely due to higher ABV, some hint of sour plum behind, a bit of dark fruits

Taste: Warm sweetness, the warmness isn't really intense and sharp as what I had prior early June, slow waves of sweetness fills up the entire mouth with some oiliness

Finish: Interestingly its relative short finish for a single cask, there's lingering sweetness, unfortunately it doesn't wow

Score : 87 , WB178934
