Autumn is the best time for sherry.
Nose: Like sniffing into an enormous bowl of freshly cooked oatmeal. Obvious sherrry characteristic like roasted nut, raisin, dried figs, cherries. There is also a subtle note of Kyoho grape peel.
Palate: So sweet, nectar like, oatmeal with honey, Kyoho grape peel, citrus peel, roasted almond, cinnamon. Basically a hearty breakfast in a glass.
Aftertaste: Long aftertaste, black tea, nutty, hint of sweetness lingered.
Cheers!
